An adventure sessions usually runs anywhere from 45 - 90 minutes. This all depends on location, outfit changes, etc. If we’re doing a hike into a spot for your session hike time is not counted into shoot time.

As for elopements you can pick your allotted time from the beginning! My packages start at 4 hours and run to all day or even multi-day. If you don’t know how much time you’ll need you can always pay a retainer to secure yourself on my calendar and then as the planning process proceeds we can add time and payments from there!

The answer is absolutely! I love to travel as a hobby so traveling for work is an added bonus. I’m always down to travel with you to new places or show you places I frequent that I love. Travel costs are included within your elopement/intimate wedding package and for adventure sessions cost of travel will be calculated individually depending on location.

That really depends on what you have in mind for your elopement day. If you’d like a full day or multi-day adventure chock full of activities I would suggest as early as you possibly can, you truly can’t book someone too early. If you are going smaller or a short day I would say 6 months out at least if you’re able to. This also all depends on what permits we might have to acquire to perform the ceremony in your preferred location if you have one off the top of your head. Sometimes permits take time and there are also waiting times on marriage licenses depending on the state. All things I can help you navigate and figure out from the start so we know how much time we need to be perfectly squared away.

Photographer calendars fill up quick (usually a year in advance) and a lot of us also block out time for our own trips and such. So the bottom line is the second you know you’re in love with someone’s work you should at least fill out a contact form and reach out so you know what you’re working with!

Yes of course! When it comes down to the nitty gritty eloping is not always about exploring huge landscapes and going on multi-day adrenaline adventures. At the heart of it eloping is about being intentional and being YOU. You and your partner should be able to enjoy your wedding day however you see fit. There are plenty of beautiful places that can be enjoyed that are easily accessible by car and ADA compliant paved paths, you can also keep it local and do activities you love close to home.

From there we will hop on a quick consultation phone call to go over details and make sure we’re a good match for each other. After that I send over a contract and invoice for you to sign and pay your deposit. Once that’s said and done I will be as involved in the planning process as you need so we can plan an epic day for you both!

Great question, and one I get asked often. The short answer is, make sure it’s something you feel comfortable and yourself in. Especially if we’re out hiking and doing lots of walking. We can always make a makeshift changing room at the top of the trail for you to change into something more formal if that’s what you’re feelin’. The key for outdoor photos is to keep the weather in mind, bring layers, and comfy socks will always save your feet. When you book with me there is a whole section in my client guide going over what to wear in more detail and depending on the adventure you pick to go on I will send personalized recommendations so that you can make sure all your bases are covered!

I provide all my galleries through a beautiful and easy to use secure online delivery system. This allows you to have access whenever you’d like from your phone or computer and you can easily send your photos to family and friends to share. If you would prefer a thumb drive with your photos I am happy to also mail one to you as well, free of charge.

I also offer all my couples a first time “thank you” discount of 15% off after you work with me so you can print some beauties for your wall.

A full elopement gallery will be delivered within 3 months of the ceremony and most adventure sessions will be delivered in two weeks! During the busy season (summer) these delivery times can sometimes be a bit longer but I will always be in communication with you about delivery times if that happens. Every session does receive a sneak peek gallery within 24-48 hours though so you have some goodies to share right away!
